More on that drum I did the artwork on.
My sister got all the holes drilled and the hardware installed!

So here is the mostly finished drum!

Drum Project

My sister commissioned me to do some artwork on a snare drum she is building. Starting from a blank wood shell, she is still in the process of getting hardware for it and drilling all the holes.
She wanted a kind of- Nautical- Bio Shock- Melita Curphy- sort of theme with the octopus tentacles.
This was a first for me doing wood burning so it was an interesting challenge. This was so she can do a wood finish over the top and not disturb the design.
Here is some progress so far:







I will post the finished drum later when its all put together!
And hopefully some better quality photos (all I have is my webcam at the moment)
